Digital Equity at Toronto Public Library

In our digital world, access to technology and the Internet, and the skills to navigate and use them are critical for all Torontonians to be successful, connected and well.

Digital Access

No matter your resources or where you live or work, we offer access to the technology, connectivity and supports you need.

Digital Literacy

Whether you're searching for information, filling out a government form, sending an email or developing a prototype for your start-up, you need the comfort and ability to use technology.

In 2021, 63.4% of Toronto respondents on the Bridge survey of technology use noted that Toronto Public Library was their only access to technology services and 80.4% reported increased digital comfort after using one or more technology services.
