Celebrity designed yellow hats commemorate the friendship between the fictional "Man in the Yellow Hat" and Curious George. Yellow hats on display here were originally designed for the exhibit when it was in New York City. The hats included in the Toronto exhibit are by actor/comedienne Rosie O'Donnell, singer/actor Bette Midler, designer Nicole Miller and others.

Celebrating 60 Years of Curious George: The Art of Margret and H.A. Rey is sponsored by Houghton Mifflin Publishers and their Canadian agent, Thomas Allen & Son Limited, drawn from the de Grummond Children's Literature Collection in the University of Southern Mississippi.
